Dr. Julissa Demorizi earned her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from Duke University, and subsequently moved to New York City to attend Columbia University for her Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery.  Upon graduating from Columbia, she pursued her specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. At Montefiore, she served as the chief resident coordinator of the craniofacial team and a member of the orthognathic surgical team.

Dr. Demorizi has been practicing orthodontics in New York City since 2008. Her primary

objective is to ensure that patients receive comprehensive orthodontic treatment that yields the most optimal esthetic, functional, and stable outcomes.  In a time of corporate dentistry and “dental chains”, Dr. Demorizi acknowledges that orthodontic treatment cannot be scaled or automated. In our practice each patient receives meticulous care and customized treatment planning that is tailor fit to their individual needs and desired esthetic goals. Our philosophy is based in the idea that we are in the practice not the business of orthodontics, and as such our focus is to provide compassionate care combined with technical excellence, an artistic eye, and attention to detail.
